Mr. Silverman formed Kingsview after being employed by West End Financial Advisors and Sentinel Investment Management Co., a SEC registered investment advisor, where he traded options and managed portfolios for high net worth investors, small institutions and Hedge Funds. Prior to that Mr. Silverman managed a portfolio for a private family office and was at the same time an independent trader and investment advisor. He also worked in the Private Client Group at Merrill Lynch and Co. while at the University of Vermont. Mr. Silverman is a graduate of the University of Vermont, and has an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business. He has NFA and FINRA Series 3, 7, 24, 30 & 63 registrations. Mr. Lewis is a founding and managing member of Kingsview. He started his career as a runner on the floor of the New York Futures Exchange ('NYFE') for Refco, one of the largest futures commission merchants ('FCM') at the time. Mr. Lewis quickly moved up to phone clerk and then to the position of Arbitrage Clerk handling a large Nomura Securities account. In 1992, Mr. Lewis created Commodity Brokerage Services ('CBS'). This firm provided floor clerk services to a variety of brokerage firms. CBS arranged with floor brokers in various pits to execute orders for their wholesale customers. CBS offered services in various pits thereby providing customers with the same service throughout the trading floor. In 1994, Mr. Lewis sold his portion of the business to his partner so that he could expand his horizons without the constraints of the trading floor. Mr. Lewis then ran the trading desk for American Futures Group in 1995 and reorganized their trading department. In 1996, he was recruited by U.S. Securities and Futures Group ('USSF') to manage their newly created International Division and at the same time, build a domestic branch office and introducing broker ('IB') network. Mr. Lewis quickly organized the international operation and spent all of his time developing the network. In 1998, Mr. Lewis spun off the IB business into IB Group LLC which he presently operates. Mr. Lewis began his own IB, Direct Futures, a discount brokerage operation, in 2002.
